Empire QuiltFest Returns!!
EQF X Diamonds and Daffodils Many of you know that the 10th Empire Quiltfest, scheduled for April 2020, was cancelled due to COVID. We are happy to announce that the show returns in 2024! The dates are April 27 & 28, 2024. EQF 2024 will be at a new location – the Fulton-Montgomery Community College in Johnstown. The 2020 show theme has been retained – “EQF X Diamonds and Daffodils” – as this is still the 10th EQF.
Quilt submissions are now closed for Empire QuiltFest – we are thrilled to announce there are 347 submitted with 117 from members of Quilt North! Thank you to everyone that entered a quilt, it is going to be a great show!
The Quilt North EQF committee is responsible for organizing volunteers. Volunteers from all 5 guilds involved in the show is what makes the show a success, we could not have a show without you! Please take a look at the volunteer form attached to the newsletter or online at: www.empirequiltfest.org and see if perhaps you too have a couple of hours to help out with the show. Updates with open available time slots will be announced soon! As a thank you, all volunteers are given a little token of appreciation in addition to being entered to win one of two gift baskets given on each day of the show.
