Empire QuiltFest

“Stitch Upon a Star” – April 28 & 29, 2018

Our biennial quilt show will be, once again, at Shenendehowa H.S. East. This is an opportunity to share and be inspired by the quilts that are shared, to shop till we drop, to learn new skills at a luncheon lecture, and to raise awareness of and funds for the guild.

Five local guilds come together to put this extravaganza on – there are lots of quilts, vendors, food, luncheon lectures, and guild booths to visit. It’s always a great show and always a great way to spend a spring day.

The show web site is www.empirequiltfest.org. Visit it to find all the show details. The brochure and forms are now available online.

Quilt North fundraising at the show

Tickets for the beautiful quilt that will be raffled at our next quilt show are available for pick up at our guild meetings. Please take as many books (5 tickets per book) you think you can sell to raise funds for guild charitable activities.

In addition, at the show, QN’s guild booth will be a quilt “boutique.” We are asking that members contribute small items to be sold for $20 or less. Experience shows that these are most popular with show attendees. Some suggestions: table runners, pillow cases, pin cushions, small wall hangings, small accessories like coin purses and key rings.

Thank you in advance! We will be in touch about other opportunities to help out with the show and with ideas of things to contribute.
