The second in our season series, winter, will be available for sale at the November meeting. There are a limited number available, so sales will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Each season series block will be a pieced basket with a seasonal fusible applique. Each kit includes borders and finishing instructions to make yourself a wall hanging.
Remember to bring your finished autumn BOM to the November meeting to be entered into a drawing for a prize that will be awarded at the end of the year. The winter BOM will be due at the February meeting.
Also, please return the plastic bags to the BOM table after you finish wall hanging. Thank you!
The first guild meeting of the year features a presentation by Cathy Racine, owner of Charlton Sewing Center in Massachusetts, called “Everything Matters.”
If you’ve already renewed your membership for 2014-15, be sure to pick up your card at the membership table. If you haven’t already renewed, please do so ASAP – you’ll be able to pick up your membership card at the October meeting.
Be sure to check out all of the great upcoming workshops – sign up before they sell out! – as well as the new block-of-the-month, which will be limited to just 30 kits a month.
Your block-of-the-month team has been working on a new project for 2014-15. This kit will be available at the September meeting and is the first in a series of four seasons. Each project will be a pieced basket with seasonal fusible applique, and borders and finishing instructions will be included.
We are only preparing 30 kits at a cost of $5 each, so purchase will be on a first-come, first-served basis. This year, we will not be collecting your blocks to raffle off. Instead, you get to keep your finished project!
So, be sure to pick up your autumn kit at the block-of-the-month table this September.
