Two workshops are being held in October: Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016 – “A Dyeing Workshop” with Sue Schoch and Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016 – “Charity Workshop” led by Paula Dunn, Charity chair. Read more about them on the Workshops page and sign up for them at the next meeting.
Our annual quilt display is currently at the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Library at 475 Moe Road, Clifton Park 12065. It is worth a stop and will be there through August. Thank you to all those who lent quilts and helped hang the display, especially Karen Sturtevant.
Interested in joining QUILT North? Interested in renewing your membership before September? The membership form is now online – you can print it, fill it out, and send it along with your dues. If your form is received before Sept. 1, 2016 AND if you include a stamped, self-addressed envelope, your membership card will be sent to you AND you will be entered into a drawing for a gift certificate for a local quilt shop.
We would like to encourage members to sign up early because we hope to minimize the crowds at the sign in tables that always happens at the beginning of the year. Thank you.

Local award-winning fiber artist Nancy DiDonato will be joining QN as our speaker in June. You’ve all seen her beautiful work. At the Empire QuiltFest 2016, this past April, she won Best Art entry for “Click V – Collection” and Best Theme entry for “Illusions.” Now hear the back story.
